"From Japanese publication ENGINE, comes this “Men” editorial for its May issue, focusing on various brands which offer clear-cut tailoring for Men this Summer. Photographed by Junji Hata and styled by Tomoki Sukezane, the piece concentrates on suits, shorts and light trench coats. Brands featured include: Prada, Mr. Bathing Ape by United Arrows, Hermes, Lanvin, Gucci, Burberry Prorsum, Dries van Noten and Louis Vuitton."
Ahead of the FWD/Rinse party at Matter in London on Friday, Lucky Me’s Rustie has dropped a tasty half hour mix, dipping into all sorts of goodness from the mellow vibes of Fourtet through to some Ramadanman deepness, via Hudmo’s wonky R&B and Brackles’ driving dubstep. He’s basically dropping some of the best music coming out of today’s underground. Big.
I’m not sure why or how I haven’t heard of this pretty lady of Baltimore till today. If someone tried to tell me about her I’m sorry I didn’t listen.
Her lastest album Bottle Tree CD uses instruments such as sound recordings of herself getting an MRI, a vibrator, a childrens’ spring microphone, a Lion King audio storybook, a baby’s white noise machine, flower vases, rainsticks, wine glasses, beer bottles and etc.
If you can record your brain getting scanned and then incorporate it into your album, that is an A+ winner in my book.
I was up until 5 last night. I couldn’t seem to be able to sleep, so I looked up more Marina Abramovic and found this photograph.
This piece was conducted by Marina and her then partner Ulay. Their piece involved the two of them standing on each side of the walls of a doorway so when people needed to go in, they were forced to tightly squeeze between them. This also brought another hard task where the people entering were also forced to chose which one of two to face in this very already uncomfortable situation.

I love old school Afro-pop, especially out of Ghana (like these dudes). If you do to this is right up your alley. If you’ll notice the guitar part in this original is sampled in the Navajo Bixby track I posted yesterday.
Damn, Daniel Snaith slays me. First he puts out one of the best records this year, then he slips fans a tour-only CD-R with tracks this good. I’m definitely going to see him play here next month. Can’t wait.
This has been knocking around for a minute online, but it’s straight-up quality so it needs to be repped regardless! Released as part of a remix package on Hotfush, Planet Mu’s Falty DL, has taken on Mount Kimbie’s ‘Serged’ and twisted it into a deep, fuzzy, vacuous (in a good way), 2-step roller.
Mt Kimbie’s new album is coming out sometime this summer, though I’m not quite sure when… Gonna be good though.
